PLAY IT FORWARD APRIL 25, 2025

 Play It Forward 2025 was another amazing tribute to Matthew Sheehan. On April 25, 2025, over 100 people came together to enjoy music, food, and friendship in Matthew's memory. Together with our talented musicians, wonderful guests, and generous donors, the Foundation will continue Matthew's legacy of performing acts of kindness by awarding college scholarships.

    Scholarship Fundraiser

    PLAY IT FORWARD

    An evening to honor Matthew’s passion for music and support the mission of the Foundation. This special evening features performances by Ross MacAndrew and The Naticks, Paul Colombino, and Alex Godiksen.

    Light buffet, pizza, dessert and cash bar.

    PLAY IT FORWARD MAY 5, 2024

     Thank you to everyone who donated to and attended Play It Forward 2024, our annual scholarship fundraiser, at the beautiful Pump House. It was an incredible evening and we love that everyone will be “paying it forward” with random acts of kindness to help continue Matthew’s legacy. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Foundation awarded two college scholarships in 2024.

    On May 5, 2023 together with over 100 friends and family, and along with the generosity of donors and our talented musicians, the Foundation honored Matthew's legacy of supporting the community by raising funds for 3 college scholarships.

    Play It Forward 2022 was a special evening to honor Matthew’s passion for music and support the mission of the Foundation. With the help of our talented musicians and the generosity of our supporters, the Foundation raised enough funds to sponsor two scholarships.

      memorial bench dedication

       On December 16, 2020, the Matthew Sheehan Memorial Foundation dedicated a bench in honor of Matthew at 

      Looking Upwards in Middletown, RI. Matthew was the IT Specialist for the Looking Upwards organization. 


      This bench was made possible by generous donations to the Foundation. Thank you all for your continued support of the Matthew Sheehan Memorial Foundation.
