Our Foundation

The Matthew Sheehan Memorial Foundation is a non-profit organization established in the memory of Matthew Sheehan, a 28 year old who died on July 30, 2019.

Matthew grew up in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. He excelled academically and volunteered with kindness and compassion in numerous community service projects. In his humble way, Matthew so easily served others.

Our Mission

The Matthew Sheehan Memorial Foundation seeks to continue Matthew’s legacy of performing acts of kindness and compassion by awarding college scholarships to high school seniors from Matthew’s hometown of South Kingstown, Rhode Island. The Foundation will award one or two scholarships annually.
